We offer several types of regenerative injection therapies: Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP), Regenaflex and Prolozone. Types of Regenerative Injections

Regenaflex

Regenaflex is a treatment that contains biological materials humanely and non-invasively collected from healthy foal tissue during natural birth. It is injected into your dog's muscle and does not require sedation.

Non-Painful: The injection itself is not painful, making it a comfortable option for your pet.
No Sedation Required: Unlike other treatments, Regenaflex does not require sedation, making the process quicker and easier for your pet.

Flexible Timing: It can be given during any appointment, as long as certain criteria are met.

Rare Soreness: Regenaflex rarely causes soreness. While the injection site is typically nonpainful, the joint itself may experience mild soreness after treatment.
Managing Discomfort: If soreness occurs, it can be treated with homeopathic remedies, pain medication, or simply rest and time.

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)

PRP is a treatment where your dog’s blood is drawn, then processed to create a concentrated solution rich in platelets, which help healing. This is injected into your dog’s joint, and mild sedation might be needed for comfort and accuracy.

Mild Sedation Often Required: To ensure your pet’s comfort and the accuracy of the injection, mild sedation is often needed during the PRP treatment.
Specific Scheduling Needed: Because mild sedation is required, your appointment must be scheduled specifically for the PRP treatment.
Tissue Regeneration: PRP works by recruiting cells to the injured area, helping to clean up dead or damaged cells. The treatment also releases proteins known as “Growth Factors,” which are essential for tissue repair and regeneration.

Prolozone

Prolozone is a treatment where oxygen and nutrients are injected directly into your dog’s joint for targeted healing. Like PRP, mild sedation is often used for comfort.
