Skin disorders may need removal for medical or cosmetic reasons. At our clinic, we use an innovative cryotherapy procedure to safely and effectively remove small growths without the need for anesthesia.

What to Expect During Your Appointment

Our doctor will examine your pet's skin to determine if cryotherapy is the best option for them.
The Cryoprobe is applied directly to the area for a few seconds, rapidly freezing and destroying the affected tissue without the need for anesthesia. Typically, two consecutive freeze/thaw cycles are performed.
The treated area may darken and scab over before naturally falling off within a few days to weeks.
Most cases require one treatment, but some may need additional sessions for complete removal. Cryotherapy is not 100% curative in all cases.
